Adam’s B-Day

Had Adam’s birthday party last night.

It was a lot of fun, we all met at our house, then went to a place called the Alamo for dinner.

When I got my food, it was so much that after I had eaten my fill and passed it around so everyone could try some, there was still 2/3 of it left. Sarah and I ate the leftovers today for lunch. So it was literally enough food for a full meal for three people. And it was really yummy.

After the Alamo, we went to Pinz for bowling.
I bowled a 109, which for me is very good.

Farmer Bob’s Birthday Bash

Went to my girlfriend’s roommate’s father’s birthday today.

Brings to mind “Spaceballs”:

Dark Helmet: I am your father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former
roommate.
Lone Starr: What’s that make us?
Dark Helmet: Absolutely nothing! Which is what you are about to become.

It was a good time. It was at Kara’s parent’s house, which is a beautiful farm.
The weather was wonderful.

We went into the meshed-off blueberry house and had some blueberries. Most weren’t ripe yet, but there were some ripe ones mixed in.

There was a potluck cookout with tons of good stuff, and kids splashing in the pond Bob built many years back.

Cinco de Mayo

Yawn… just got back from Cinco de Mayo party at Jake and Paola’s. As usual, Jake had a great spread of food. I had so much to eat, I’m stuffed. And so much to drink, I’m wobbly…

We sat around a fire outside, so I came home permeated with the smell of smoke.

Mmmm, had a busy day… now I’m ready for some serious sleep.

Maybe go see Spider-man 3 tomorrow.
