Yeah, the cafeteria was packed with people watching the TVs – the most people I’ve seen gathered around like that since Sept.11.
Only this time everyone was happy. =)
I like that he included other religions and also…glory be!…nonbelievers in his speech. Also, liked the fact that he said it was going to take a long time to turn things around. I have to admit being near tears when he first came out. Having lived through the civil rights era, it’s an amazing and gratifying thing to see.
