  1. um..I THINK i know this..
    people do not walk on the grass if you are going across?
    I heard about it from my sister….I hope I’m right or I’ll feel like an ass.
    it’s either that or a town in wales.

    1. Yup, that’s pretty much it – the translation I saw was:

      Please Do Not Walk On The Grass If You Are Going Anywhere

      (in other words, it’s ok if the grass *is* your destination, but otherwise go around)

      I’m not sure which is the official translation, though…
