Picked up the M-Audio KeyStudio e49 at Best Buy on the way home.
Setup was:
1) Run GarageBand
2) Plug keyboard into Mac
3) Start playing
As soon as I plugged it in, GarageBand was like “hey, you have a MIDI device!”
It works great!
Now I just need to learn how to play. =)
