Yawn…

I went to take a nap last night and didn’t wake up until my alarm went off in the morning, 10 hours later.

Today I’m bringing my old Panasonic CD player to work to give to Ben for him to use at his church. I’ll miss it… it served me well for many years, a lot of walks in the woods in Washington State were powered by that player. But with the age of digital music and the iPod upon us, I don’t even listen to CDs any more. So time for it to go.

I’m also bringing my Sony 5-Disc DVD player to work, to sell to Scott for $30. I could get more for it online, but I’m too lazy to eBay it.

I’m still going through stuff, but here are some items so far that I am offering:

Any of that interest you?

Full to the brim

We originally got the dumpster for 2 weeks, but it only took 3 days to completely fill it.

If it wasn’t so expensive ($400) I’d say we should get a dumpster more often.

I have a pile of stuff in the living room that I need to go through and give away/sell.

Item #1 up for grabs:

Nomad II MG MP3 Player. Once considered high-end, now considered a toy. I it has 64MB of built-in storage, and you can put a 128MB SmartMedia card in it, for a grand total of 192MB of storage.

Not much, but enough to fit 4 or 5 albums on it, more if you compress them at lower quality. A good first MP3 player for a kid, perhaps.

It looks cool, and lights up blue. Ooo, blue lights. Sexy.

I have the MP3 player, docking station, and probably all the manuals and original packaging.

Anyway, let me know if you want it.

Remotes

Trying out a new universal remote… Adam bought the Logitec Harmony 880 remote a while back, tried it, and didn’t like it. So I bought it from him, and it’s been sitting around for a few months.

New Harmony Remote

Tonight I sat down and configured it. Kinda clunky setup software (java-based and web-driven), but I think I got it all set up.

I’m going to try using it day-to-day and see how it goes.

Old MX500 Remote

I think I still prefer my old Home Theater Master MX500 remote, since it has a nicer button layout and larger more tactile buttons. But I’ll give the Harmony a chance and see if it grows on me.
